Born and raised in Daytona Beach, FL, Andrew Graves “MrGravesTattoos”, was raised in a household full of creative freedoms. He took an early interest in the tattoo industry, when his mother got his name tattooed on her shoulder in the early 90's. Through grade school, he would draw, paint, and use other artistic outlets as a form of expression. After high school, he attended college to earn several degrees as an electrical engineer, where he spent 10+ years in the field of communications.

Tattooing since 2008, he found himself meeting his mentor in the early twenty teens and worked through an apprenticeship to learn the proper techniques and artistic fundamentals to perform body art. With 15+ years of on and off experience, he took the plunge and became a full-time professional tattooer in 2022. Shortly after, business ownership was staring him in the face and he took over Supernova Ink and Art Studio where he has built a team of artists who are all chasing their creative dreams to pursue their artistic careers!

ROB FLANAGAN

TATTOO ARTIST

Tattooing in the Daytona Beach area for nearly 20 years, Rob has many styles of art that he enjoys. His art style has a naturally dark flair, but don't let that fool you, his ability to create fine-line and delicate tattoos is bar none!

During his downtime between appointments, you can find Rob in the shop painting with acrylics and oils on a variety of different canvases such as old saw blades, stretched fabric, and many others. Many of these pieces can be found for sale in the Supernova Art Gallery. He also has the ability to create digital pieces of art and has been commissioned to design many different logos for local companies to be used for marketing purposes to define their brand.

All in all, his artistic design is stylistic and easy to read. His tattoos are always completed with longevity in mind, ensuring his clients a nice looking tattoo for many years to come! Rob enjoys taking larger appointment based projects, but loves doing on the spot tattoo projects and keeps his walk-in availability a priority. Call the shop or stop by and ask for ROB!

True is the newest member of the Supernova Ink & Art Studio family. His diverse approach to art gives him a creative edge on the tattoo industry. As a local traveling musician, in his free time away from the shop, True creates audible masterpieces to compliment the visionary works of art he tattoos on his clients. Traveling state to state for tattoo conventions and tattooing in other collective spaces helps True to stay diverse in the creative process of molding projects to be one-of-a-kind for each individual person he tattoos. Lindsay was raised in Alaska and Washington until she was 15 and moved abroad to the Middle East and Asia. She attended a British Arts School and learned classical art styles but wanted to create more than that. She’s held the regular 9-5 and was also a full time stay at home mom. Through life her outlet has always been art; photography, drawing, painting etc. But now she feels most like her creative self while tattooing. And when she’s not tattooing, she’s painting or enjoying time with her family.
