ANDREW GRAVES

Born and raised in Daytona Beach, FL, Andrew Graves “MrGravesTattoos”, was raised in a household full of creative freedoms. He took an early interest in the tattoo industry, when his mother got his name tattooed on her shoulder in the early 90's. Through grade school, he would draw, paint, and use other artistic outlets as a form of expression. After high school, he attended college to earn several degrees as an electrical engineer, where he spent 10+ years in the field of communications.

Tattooing since 2008, he found himself meeting his mentor in the early twenty teens and worked through an apprenticeship to learn the proper techniques and artistic fundamentals to perform body art. With 15+ years of on and off experience, he took the plunge and became a full-time professional tattooer in 2022. Shortly after, business ownership was staring him in the face and he took over Supernova Ink and Art Studio where he has built a team of artists who are all chasing their creative dreams to pursue their artistic careers!

ANDREW 'DRU' BAKER

ARTIST

Dru is 27 years old and has had a passion for creating things with his hands for as long as he can remember. Originally interested in graffiti style art and anime, Dru started his first sketch book when he got a DragonBall Z “how to” drawing book for Christmas as a kid. He has always had an interest in tattoos, and after a strong career in barbering he began pursuing a tattoo apprenticeship! Dru has been tattooing since 2020 and loves to do all styles, some of his favorites are black and gray realism and floral style pieces.

LOGAN THAYER

Logan is originally from the Carolinas but, he grew up a little bit of everywhere. He found his love for creative freedom and tattooing when his mother started apprenticing in Fayetteville, NC. He was fascinated one day seeing a drawing his mother did on paper and then another day it would be on someone's skin. His om used to order all sorts of books and when she decided to pursue being a wonderful stay at home mom, Logan decided not to let those books go to waste. After spending most of his adulthood in mechanics and the EMS system, he decided it was time to pursue something he is passionate about. Having a son of his own, he hopes one day he can pass on to his son what his mom did for him.

LINDSAY MENDOLA

Lindsay was raised in Alaska and Washington until she was 15 and moved abroad to the Middle East and Asia. She attended a British Arts School and learned classical art styles but wanted to create more than that. She’s held the regular 9-5 and was also a full time stay at home mom. Through life her outlet has always been art; photography, drawing, painting etc. But now she feels most like her creative self while tattooing. And when she’s not tattooing, she’s painting or enjoying time with her family.

Meet R Valentine, a talented tattoo artist based in Daytona Beach, Florida, specializing in American Traditional and Dark Art tattoos. With nearly one year of experience, R has quickly established their own unique style, bringing a deep passion for creating stunning and meaningful tattoos.

R Valentine's love for traditional tattoos and Dark Art shines through in their designs, which often incorporate bold lines, vibrant colors, and elements of the macabre, transforming skin into living works of art. With a growing portfolio and a strong desire to continuously improve their skills, R Valentine is determined to make a lasting impact in the world of tattoo artistry.

ROB FLANAGAN

Tattooing in the Daytona Beach area for nearly 20 years, Rob has many styles of art that he enjoys. His art style has a naturally dark flair, but don't let that fool you, his ability to create fine-line and delicate tattoos is bar none!

During his downtime between appointments, you can find Rob in the shop painting with acrylics and oils on a variety of different canvases such as old saw blades, stretched fabric, and many others. Many of these pieces can be found for sale in the Supernova Art Gallery. He also has the ability to create digital pieces of art and has been commissioned to design many different logos for local companies to be used for marketing purposes to define their brand.

All in all, his artistic design is stylistic and easy to read. His tattoos are always completed with longevity in mind, ensuring his clients a nice looking tattoo for many years to come! Rob enjoys taking larger appointment based projects, but loves doing on the spot tattoo projects and keeps his walk-in availability a priority. Call the shop or stop by and ask for ROB!
